This is an amazing vegan café and restaurant which offers both hot and cold food, juices and smoothies, and refined sugar-free cakes and bakes. It has a fun and buzzing atmosphere with friendly service. In fact, we loved it so much that we went 3 times!
My favourite meal that I had here was the fluffy quinoa salad, with avocado, sweet corn and mustard vinaigrette. Mum had the Asian salad with cabbage, carrot, tempeh (a form of soy protein similar to tofu) and sesame dressing. Dad had a panini with French horn mushrooms, other mixed vegetables and cashew ‘cheese’, and Sasha had the pizza with seasonal vegetables.

Our favourite side was the chickpea fries- beautifully spiced, crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.
Peacefood café also has a wide range of fresh juices. I loved the Energiser juice, made with beetroot, carrot, spinach and cucumber.
However, the real highlight of this place is the desserts- cookies, cakes, raw treats- it’s all there. They’re all free from refined sugars, served in (slightly too) generous portions and utterly delicious. There were so many to choose from that I had to try several during our holiday.
The Key Lime Pie is the perfect cheesecake choice for a creamy and zingy ending to a meal. It’s made with avocado, which gives it the pretty shade of green. The peanut butter cheesecake is more rich and indulgent, but is quite sickly, so it’s good to share one! I also tried the Raw cacao mousse pie, which consists of a date and walnut crust containing avocado chocolate mousse. I couldn’t choose a favourite; they were all so delicious and in the unlikely event that any of these options don’t appeal to you, there are plenty more choices available!
I highly recommend it and as I hope to return to New York one day, I will definitely be returning here.
Thanks for reading!

Looks amazing, I really wish we had more cafes like this in Ireland!
It was amazing! I wish there was one in London, too! X
