My First Ever Vlog: On Holiday In Crete

Hi guys!

I’m really excited to share this news with you – and a little nervous too. I’ve just created my first ever vlog! Vlogging has been something that I’ve wanted to do for a while. I used to think it was really strange and never even watched other people’s vlogs; I just couldn’t understand why people would want to watch the details of people’s lives and what they get up to. However, I then discovered vloggers whose videos I really enjoyed, including Carly Rowena, Cat Meffan, Gracefituk and Zanna Van Dijk. These are a few of my favourite vloggers and they really encouraged me to do my own. I thought it would be a good way for you all to get to know me a bit more and so I decided to share my first vlog on my holiday in Crete. I wanted to give you an insight into what I ate on my holiday, how I trained and how I found a balance between enjoying myself and staying healthy.

I don’t know whether vlogging will become a regular thing for me; starting in September I’ll be struggling with A levels, so don’t expect to see much of me during term time! However I’d like to film a few during the remainder of my summer holidays, and possibly some weekends and future holidays too.

Please let me know what you think of the vlog if you watch it, and give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you’d like to see more! I’m also very open to suggestions, so if there’s anything you’d like me to film or something you’d be interested in then let me know. Hope you enjoy it!

Just watched your vlog, loved it! I think it’s a great way for your readers to get to know you, and it looks like you had fun in Crete! I also like the fact that you talk about balance, which is so important. Your secret stashes of Pip & Nut seem a good idea, I might try that next time I travel, haha! xx

Thank you, I’m so glad you liked it! I agree, it seems like a much more personal way of getting to know someone. Crete was lovely and yes – the sachets are ideal for travelling! X
